After a complete or partial mastectomy, and once several weeks have passed since surgery, we can recreate the appearance of the areola and nipple through micropigmentation or medical tattooing.

We carefully select the most appropriate color and size for each areola. If only one areola needs to be treated, we work to match it as closely as possible to the existing one in both tone and dimensions, achieving a natural and harmonious result.

Areola–nipple tattooing or micropigmentation is typically performed in two sessions. A second appointment is often necessary for a touch-up, as some pigment loss may occur during the healing process.

Micropigmentation is a semi-permanent cosmetic technique. As its name suggests, it gradually fades over time and may require maintenance sessions periodically.

Tattooing, on the other hand, is a permanent treatment. It does not fade with time in the same way as micropigmentation.

Tattoo pigments have a larger molecular structure and are implanted at a deeper level of the skin, which is why the results are long-lasting and more stable over time.
